Home Cctv

I have 2 wireless cameras and using thrm for home security do i need a time lapse vcd or a regular one and i have a pvr im not using can i hook that up too cameras i tryed but it didnt work dont know what channel they would go on

Allot of home CCTV systems are quite confusing can anyone suggest a good system setup Im trying to include a DVR with a decent capacity and some (not in your face) cameras possibaly with one or two bieng of the (Pan Tilt Zoom) type, I think that a small dome type might sutable.

One camera will be overlooking at night a dark allotment area and the rear of the house

Two Cameras for the side of the property and vehicle parking area

Possibally one for the front door area..

Any help about good kits or setup advice would be greatly appreceated… I am very new to this sort of thing however i have seen in stores some very bad quality systems .. What would i need for a system to record all 4 channels at real motion without very much time lapse?
